Joshua Cartagenova, MBA, CEO
Josh is a true entrepreneurial leader with past experience in developing and leading successful marketing teams in the technology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and financial industries. Since 2001, Joshua (along with his wife, Stacey) has focused his efforts on providing targeted leadership, marketing insight and operation expertise to significantly contribute toward Therapy Source’s growth. As a result, Therapy Source has been continuously ranked in national and regional publications such as Inc. Magazine, Philadelphia Top 100, and Staffing Industry Analysts. Currently, Joshua’s efforts are concentrated on investigating strategic acquisitions nationwide.
Joshua received his BA in Marketing at Hofstra University, and MBA at Drexel University, where he earned a dual degree in International Business and Management Information Systems.
Fun Fact: Josh competed in two amateur body building competitions in 1990 and 1991.
Stacey Cartagenova, MS/SLP, President
As a Speech-Language Pathologist for many years, Stacey recognized an overwhelming need for an organization that offered a staffing element, while simultaneously providing industry expertise and guidance. Along with her husband and co-owner, Joshua, Stacey has turned that vision into the thriving, growing company that Therapy Source is today. In her role as President, Stacey oversees the management of all client and therapist relationships, is directly involved in all departments within the company and ensures that Therapy Source consistently operates according to its mantra of personalized commitment.
Stacey holds a BA from Hofstra University, and an MS in Speech and Language Pathology from University of the District of Columbia.
Fun Fact: An avid skier, Stacey’s ‘bucket list’ includes partaking in the sport of extreme skiing.
Mark J. Costello, MBA, Finance & Operations Director
Mark joined Therapy Source in 2014, bringing with him over 25 years of finance experience that includes directorships at major insurance companies, banks and manufacturers. Past roles have included financial reporting, compliance, financial management and financial operations.
Mark earned a BS in accounting, and an MBA in finance from Philadelphia University. He is a certified six-sigma green belt and has extensive experience in managing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Fun Fact: Mark can play multiple musical instruments, and once worked as a professional musician.
Ann Marie Geissel, M.Ed., ABD, National Special Education Director
With 30+ years of special education experience, as a teacher, principal, special education supervisor and special education director within urban, suburban school districts and charter schools, Ann Marie’s background and qualifications make her well positioned to assist Therapy Source’s education clients with compliance monitoring and daily operation.
Ann Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from LaSalle University, and Master of Education in Special Education from Arcadia University. Additionally, she has been certified as a principal and special education advisor – and possesses a Letter of Eligibility for Superintendent – through Temple University’s and Widener University’s Doctoral Programs in Educational Administration.
Fun Fact: Ann Marie comes from a family of teachers, dating back to her grandmother in Italy.
Rachel Ostafi, Marketing Director
Rachel joined Therapy Source in 2013, bringing with her over 15 years of increasingly responsible experience leading strategic and tactical marketing efforts for multimillion-dollar companies. In her role at Therapy Source, Rachel manages a team of smart and savvy marketers, and leads the organization’s marketing, branding, and communication efforts.
Rachel has a BA in Marketing from Stockton University.
Fun Fact: A lifelong cat lover, Rachel spent 10 years as an active animal rescue volunteer.
Philip Puleo, M.S. CCC-SLP, Eastern Regional Director
Philip joined Therapy Source in 2017, bringing his unique background as both a skilled executive and a seasoned SLP. Philip’s educational staffing knowledge and experience – along with his passion for mentoring and developing employees – make him a strong asset to the Therapy Source Management Team.
He holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency in accordance with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of New Jersey and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he holds K-12 teaching Certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as a New Jersey School Specialist Certificate.
Fun Fact: Fore! Philip had a scholarship in college to play golf.
Kevin Saeger, Eastern Regional Director
Kevin joined Therapy Source in October 2015, bringing extensive working knowledge from over 15 years of continued success within the staffing and recruitment services industries. His expertise and candid management style assist him in his role on the Therapy Source Management Team.
Fun Fact: Kevin’s favorite activity is riding the slopes, after falling in love with snowboarding over the past 20 years.
Melissa Smith, Credentialing Director
Melissa joined Therapy Source in 2011, and has close to 15 years of staffing industry credentialing experience in the fields of nursing, behavioral health and allied health. In her role at Therapy Source, Melissa is responsible for developing and growing the Credential Department, and oversees contracts, documentation, and notifications.
Fun Fact: Melissa’s ‘happy place’ is Disney World – she loves the planning, the non-stop family time, and the entire atmosphere.
Carole Washington, Director of Human Resources
Carole joined Therapy Source in December 2015, bringing over 20 years of experience in managing a full spectrum of human resources services and functions. Carole’s strong leadership skills and proven ability to interact with all levels of management make her an asset to Therapy Source, and a valuable resource in support of employees, and corporate business objectives.
Carole has her BA in Business Administration from Lincoln University.
Fun Fact: Carole is a video game and crossword puzzle junkie…from Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Centipede, to more contempory digital obsessions such as Candy Crush and 100! Puzzle.
