Plymouth Meeting, PA — January 28, 2015 — Therapy Source, Inc., the premier national provider of comprehensive in-person and online therapy staffing services and solutions, has been recertified as a Woman-Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Therapy Source initially received this nationally-recognized certification in 2014.
“We are thrilled to continue our WBENC certification,” said Stacey Cartagenova, Therapy Source President and Co-Owner, “It is a true honor to once again be recognized in this capacity.”
WBENC certification is a meticulous process that includes an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. In order to receive WBENC certification, a business must be approved following an in-depth review of company records and a site inspection. The process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is dedicated to advancing the success of certified women’s business enterprises and corporate members in partnership with its affiliated women’s business organizations.
WBENC’s goal is to foster diversity in the world of commerce. Its programs and policies are designed to expand opportunities and eliminate barriers in the marketplace for women business owners. WBENC works with representatives of corporations to encourage the utilization and expansion of supplier diversity programs. www.wbenc.org
