TheraWeb® Recognized as Finalist in Global Innovation Tournament: Presents at the Wharton School

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA – May 6, 2010 — Therapy Source, Inc., a national therapy staffing firm, was honored to be designated as one of fourteen finalists in the second annual Innovation Tournament. The Innovation Tournament was sponsored by Wipro Technologies, a leading information technology, consulting, and outsourcing company, and Knowledge@Wharton, the online business research and analysis journal of the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. TheraWeb®, a telepractice solution that enables remote therapy sessions, was selected as one of the top innovations from around the globe.

TheraWeb® provides online, real-time therapy services using state-of-the-art web, audio, and video conferencing technologies. With TheraWeb®, students and patients worldwide can participate in scheduled treatment sessions from the comfort of their homes. Educational and healthcare clients benefit from greater therapist availability and lower cost of services.

The Innovation Tournament consisted of three phases and generated more than 160 submissions from six continents. During the semifinals, web-based videos were judged and selected for the finals based on novelty, feasibility, track record, and overall potential.
